POSITION TITLE: Full-time Sustainable Agriculture Instructor
SALARY: Salary and benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the Maine Community College System and the MEA, Faculty Unit. Level VI (Starting salary range $34,575.19 - $52,298.05)
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Agriculture or related field; at least 2 years of teaching experience in higher education. Demonstrated knowledge of sustainable farming practices, animal husbandry and farm management is desirable; familiarity with curriculum development and assessment.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary responsibility will include teaching Sustainable Agriculture and related courses. Other duties include curriculum development, student learning outcome assessment, collaboration with the farm manager and academic advising. Schedule may include day, evening and online classes. Familiarity with instructional technology is desirable.
