Job Summary Assist with providing test information to students. Serve as back-up clerical support for department. Reports To (Title of individual) Advising Manager Responsibilities Download and records GED test records for students. Assist with entering writing sample test scores into PeopleSoft. Maintain monthly reports for departmental staff. Verify all information for test score requests and mail out accordingly. Provide information and assistance to students, college staff and other colleges and universities on test dates, times and locations. Process walk-in requests for test score information. Provide clerical support to the Director and serve as back up to the office manager. Assist system staff in answering telephone and conducting other system office functions. Other duties may be assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities No Budgeting Authority No Travel Required Minimal Education Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Certification Requirements Experience Requirements Minimum of one (1) year general office experience, including customer service and the use of office equipment required. NOTE: Part-time experience will be counted as half of full-time experience; for example, two (2) years of part-time experience will equal one (1) year of full-time experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Ability to assist and deal with a diverse student population. Good customer service skills required. PC experience preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Computer Skills Requirements PC experience preferred.
