Job Vacancy Announcement Position Information Position Title Registrar Position Type Administrative Department Enrollment Services FLSA Exempt Union/Non Union Non Union Full Time or Part Time Full Time Grade 18 Salary Range Hiring Salary Range $76,167 - 83,784/Annual Fixed Term/Tenure Track Regular or Temporary Regular Job Description Summary This position provides leadership to plan, organize and manage all of the activities related to the Recruitment and the Admissions and Records departments, including serving as the official authorized keeper of the college’s student records. Minimum Qualifications Master’s Degree in related field. Three years full-time or equated experience in this professional area. Must have supervised personnel and administered programs directly related to this professional area for a minimum of three years. Criteria CRITERIA: The following criteria, which are not the sole criteria used in the final hiring decision, will be used to review the applications of those persons who meet the stated minimum qualifications and to select those qualified applicants who will be interviewed. Other information and observations made during the interview process may be considered in the selection process. Resume/CV and cover letter are required with the application. Please ensure that your documents address the criteria listed below for this position. Experience in managing a diverse population. Knowledge and experience with enrollment management issues in higher education. Knowledge and experience with workforce development and continuing education course offerings. Experience in applying enrollment management techniques to a diverse student population. Experience in program development in student recruitment, records and registration, or financial aid. Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating recruitment programs. Knowledge of current research trends, best practices, and local/state/federal mandates impacting students in higher education, specifically community colleges. Experience in student information systems and other technology that improves the recruitment, admission, registration and its application to enrollment services. Experience in sustaining relationships with school systems, community agencies, and higher education institutions. Experience in planning, budgeting, and setting enrollment targets. Experience in student diagnostic and assessment practices. Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English. Ability to create interpersonal and group communication as well as public presentations. Ability to perform detailed work independently, as well as, in a team environment. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite. Job Requirements Must be able to work 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Work schedule subject to change based upon departmental needs. Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
