Job Description: Middlesex Community College invites qualified applicants for part-time, adjunct faculty positions to teach Computer Science courses during the Fall 2013 semester. Courses are offered weekdays and Saturday mornings on both our Bedford and Lowell campuses. The College is committed to hiring creative and knowledgeable individuals that have demonstrable expertise in their field. Requirements: Working knowledge of Visual Basic and Java. Previous Computer Science teaching experience required; previous experience teaching computer science at the community college level preferred. Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, but not required. Professional experience with programming languages required. Additional Information: The need is for those that are dedicated to excellence and to working inclusively with students of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including those with different levels of academic preparation and varying physical and learning abilities.
