These are temporary, part-time positions used to fill classroom vacancies as needed: days, evenings, weekends and/or online. When a position is available, qualified applicants may be contacted for an interview and asked to submit further documentation.

cover letter, resume or curriculum vitae, transcripts for all college work, copies of any teaching certifications held, and three current letters of recommendation.
Master’s degree in the teaching discipline (Composition, Art History, Introduction to Art, History, Oral Communications, Sociology, Spanish, and Music) or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Experience using Blackboard (or a similar learning management system as a delivery method for classes) is recommended.
Somerset Community College (SCC) is one of 16 two-year colleges in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). SCC offers daytime, evening and weekend classes at six convenient campus locations.
