Job Description Summary
The Learning Center Attendant will assist the needs of students and staff at the Information Hub. Job duties include providing library circulation service, shelving library materials, providing computer and printer assistance, and assist students in locating a tutor. This position is scheduled to work approximately 10 scheduled hours per week.
This position requires excellent customer service skills, effective and efficient communication skills and computer literacy. Candidates must exhibit a high level of customer service skills and willingness to assist the Learning Center staff and patrons.
IC3 certification. Availability to be on-call.
You must be enrolled at the College on a full-time or part-time basis (minimum of 6 credit hours); Contact hours will not be used to meet the 6 credit hour minimum. High-school students which are dual enrolled are not eligible for student employment.
You must be enrolled or continuing your education with Ferris State or Bethel College, on the campus of SMC, and are enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
