Position Detail

  • Division:

    Student Development Services

  • Reports to:

    Enrollment Manager

  • Responsibilities:

    • Assist prospective and current students with application and/or enrollment questions

    • Answer phone calls assisting community members, prospective and current students with enrollment questions and/or provide general college information

    • Process applications/registrations for curriculum and continuing education students 

    • Receive and process incoming transcripts and determine non-course equivalencies to be awarded

    • Determine student eligibility for enrollment for both curriculum and continuing education

    • Process student withdrawals

    • Process transcript requests

    • Prepare written communication to applicants to confirm acceptance and/or needs for acceptance

    • Scan student records/maintain electronic student records

    • Assist faculty and staff with student record/enrollment issues

    • Provide support to the Enrollment Manager and the Director of Enrollment Management as needed

    • Work one evening weekly (10am-6pm) 

    • Follow FERPA regulations while processing and maintaining accurate student records (applications, transcripts, medical records, etc.)

    • Maintain accurate student records in compliance with SACS and state audit requirements

    • Miscellaneous tasks: assist with registration, mailings, graduation; serve on college committees; maintain professional appearance; maintain professional behavior in accordance with professional code of conduct and ethics

    Other duties as assigned

  • Qualifications:

    Minimum Required: AA or AAS degree, proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook), good communication skills with the ability to work with diverse populations

    Preferred: AAS in Business Administration, Office Systems or Computer Technologies; experience using Colleague

  • Salary Range:

    $25,459 - $32,460
