Peggy Kennedy named interim president of Minnesota State Community and Technical College

The next leader of Minnesota State Community and Technical College says she’s excited to move the college forward.
Peggy Kennedy, appointed interim president of MSCTC starting Friday, said the college is already high-performing and her background will complement the college’s mission.
“I will hope to move it further in the direction necessary until a permanent president can be hired,” she said.
Kennedy is senior vice president for academic affairs and student development for St. Paul College, where she has worked for 26 years.
Kennedy said she was encouraged to apply for the interim presidency after MSCTC President Ann Valentine announced she would resign at the end of June to take a job in Indiana.
