Ivy Tech Community College announced Thursday it will have record-breaking fall enrollment this year, with more than 113,000 students statewide.
Indiana University is expecting its second-largest freshman class, and Ball State and Vincennes universities also are projecting increases.
Enrollment figures at other public colleges in Indiana will be released later.
Ivy Tech said in a news release that fall enrollment reached 113,205 on Monday. That's a 1.6 percent increase from the 111,452 it reported last fall.
Ivy Tech said its fall enrollment has jumped 73 percent since 2005. |
