Community College Jobs

Think critically, learn actively, interact in diverse environments, and communicate with clarity. Those are Cascadia's four learning outcomes driven by our mission to be a collaborative, learner-centered college. Every class is designed to embrace those learning outcomes and exposes students to small group work where projects, presentations, and teaching others are key components.

Whether you're coming back to college after a break, heading to college out of high school, or simply exploring new fields, you'll be exposed to a truly different kind of learning atmosphere at Cascadia.

Cascadia is a young, vibrant college. Its progressive faculty helps students learn that all disciplines relate to each other. Students will see themes discussed across all classes, like global awareness, social justice, or environmental sustainability. Students will be taught on the newest, most dynamic campus in the community college system. And, students will have exposure to our partners, the University of Washington Bothell, on our co-located campus. Cascadia has one of the highest transfer rates in the state for these very reasons.

Employment at Cascadia

We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are interested in being part of a small, friendly community, with a faculty and staff that are dedicated to meeting the needs of our students. Employee Benefits

Cascadia offers a comprehensive benefits package to our full-time and part-time permanent employees and other benefits-eligible positions.

We view the associate faculty as integral parts of Cascadia and are committed to facilitating their professional growth and development. Accordingly, opportunities for additional non-classroom employment may also be available (instructional/program leadership, tutor/learning assistance, institutional governance, assessment, curriculum development). Compensation is highly competitive.

Governance at Cascadia

Cascadia College operates through a system of shared governance by which there is collaboration with all college constituents to participate in organizational decision making. The college governance system serves to advise the president through a formal system of employee advisory groups and councils. Recommendations resulting from team dialogue, including considerations from campus committees and task forces, are forwarded through the appropriate organizational governance process or to appropriate administrators for further dialogue.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Social Justice at Cascadia College

Cascadia College believes that every person's background, which includes identifiers such as ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and ability, helps enrich the lives of others when an environment is conducive to the expression of that identity.
