Lecturer/Asst Professor in Radiography and Diagnostic Imaging

Applications are invited for a specified purpose post of a Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar in Radiography and Diagnostic Imaging within UCD School of Medicine.

The successful applicant will add support to the teaching and learning of undergraduate and graduate Radiography and graduate CPD initiatives. The post will mainly involve teaching and support of the undergraduate curriculum and the provision of high-quality scholarship and contribution to the delivery and assessment. Applicants must hold a primary qualification in Radiography and be eligible to register on the Radiographers Register, CORU. Evidence of graduate education relevant to recognised areas of diagnostic imaging sub-specialities is desirable.

The successful applicants will also contribute to teaching and learning and curriculum development of the undergraduate programme and graduate programmes as deemed appropriate. The University will particularly welcome applications from those who can best further the development and integration of the Radiography and Diagnostic Imaging Section of the School and foster collaboration with other disciplines and institutions nationally and internationally. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate a willingness to establish the School as an international centre for excellence in research in Radiography and Diagnostic Imaging and to the provision of internationally renowned taught professional programmes.

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above the Bar (7943) Salary Scale: € 55,951 - €88,601 per annum Pro rata 0.5FTE

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
