NOTE: **Must be a resident of the State of Colorado or able to relocate to Colorado prior to first date of employment.**

Department/Division Purpose (brief description of main function):
Provide relevant and rigorous instruction to students in our CIS and HIT programs in order to provide them with the skills and knowledge to become productive employees or to successfully transfer to a four-year institution to continue their education.

This position specifically exists to manage and lead Apprenticeship Programming at PCC, which may include diverse programs in areas such as health, information technology and other career and technical fields. This position will be responsible for ensuring the sustainability and growth of the programs. This position will provide support to current and potential apprentices, faculty, employers and internal and external stakeholders. This position will have significant responsibility to act as a liaison with multiple partners, both internal and external, and lead enrollment management efforts and reporting requirements for PCC apprenticeship programs. Please be aware that funding for this position is awarded through a Grant/Contract over a specified period. Employment for this position beyond the current Grant/Contract funding is contingent upon continued funding.

Necessary Special Requirements:
The position requires a flexible work schedule to provide student advising and to attend college events after regular business hours and weekends. Candidates for this position must be willing to meet these required hours in order to be considered for the position.

Job Duties

Essential Functions:
Enrollment Management and Navigation
Serve as case manager for each apprenticeship cohort; navigating through application, onboarding, registration, payment and completion
Liaison with college partners, industry partners and community partners to support participation through successful completion of apprenticeship programs.
Maintain necessary documents and records regarding, payments, student evaluations, course information and U.S. Department of Labor records
Coordinating and management of grant funds
Program Development and Coordination
Create, update and maintain apprenticeship playbook for internal PCC processes and policies; establishing processes and workflow documents to ensure effective day to day management of programs.
Serve as a liaison to PCC specific internal processes/departments
Supports the implementation, tracking and reimbursement of grant Support Services funds.
Provide timely resolutions to issues and concerns from employers, PCC departments, Workforce, students, and other stakeholders both internally and externally.
Assessment/Evaluation/Data Analysis
Coordinate program evaluation and assessment, including student and industry partner experiences as well as data analysis on demographics, completion and program participant costs
Research, develop, financially analyze the benefits for employer and college
Support and manage RAPIDS/ U.S. Department of Labor compliance data
Prepare and manage quarterly financial reports, and evaluation summaries
Communications, Marketing, and Outreach
Support director in outreach, marketing documents
Collaborates with partners across the college to support enrollment in apprenticeships
Development and implementation of Orientation sessions for each apprenticeship model and/or program
Assist with the development of public relations and communication strategies to support program goals and increase community awareness.
Support CCCS and State Apprenticeship initiatives
Attendance and participation in monthly Apprenticeship Meetings
Working with CCCS system office to coordinate and manage apprenticeship tracking
Monitor apprenticeship programs throughout the state and nationally to seek out new ideas and partnerships.
Management of U.S. Department of Labor Sponsorship
Coordination and understanding of necessary paperwork and documentation
Data entry and management of student apprentice information into RAPIDS systems

Minimum Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Licenses or Certificates:
None

Experience:
Minimum 2 years professional work experience
Experience with budget reporting
Customer service experience

Special knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Knowledge, skill and ability to use and/or learn computer applications to include Microsoft (Word, Excel)
Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
Effective organizational skills
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Demonstrated skill working with a diverse population
Ability to communicate clearly to multiple diverse groups to include administration, stakeholders, employees, and students.

Education:
Master's Degree

Licenses or Certificates:
None

Experience:
Previous experience working in an apprenticeship program
Three or more years of professional work experience
Experience advising students
Experience working in health information technology or computer information technology
Experience executing contracts
Experience with outreach, marketing or recruiting
Experience in a position that required good problem solving skills
Verifiable experience coordinating complex projects

Special knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Knowledge of electronic media, social media and experience with marketing and public relations
Demonstrated success increasing diversity of students/employees and implementing diversity initiatives
Knowledge of Apprenticeship models
