NC State Football program is a Division 1A FBS program within the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Essential Job Duties
This position reports to the Head Coach. Job is to oversee Recruiting Department and all Recruiting aspects including Roster Management. Must know all NCAA Rules. Must keep staff in compliance. Areas of responsibility include:
• Oversee all Roster Management
- Scholarship & Roster management
- Scholarship & Roster management
- Scholarship numbers – Counters
- Replacement strategies & timing
- Financial Aid Agreements – NLIs
• Oversee Evolution Pipeline management
- Evaluation grading system & criteria
- Sequencing of grading process + involvement
- Profile film coordination
- Constant evaluation of current roster with coaching staff to help identify areas of strengths and weaknesses to formulate recruiting plans
• Recruiting Liaison to Compliance
- Manage all areas of recruiting compliance
- Collaborate with compliance on legislative feedback within conference and NCAA
• Oversee Final Recruiting Travel Schedules for 10 Assistants and Head Coach
- Coaches Recruiting Travel & Logistics
- Evaluation period plan
- Contact period plan
- Summer camp plan
• Organize what the Evaluation Process will look like
- Defining types of recruit status & offers
- Defining types of recruit status & offers
- Define process + when-where-why-how on offer delivery
- Tracking and monitoring
- Layout & upkeep of boards
• Build relationships with all prospective student-athletes, their families, and show them why NC State University is the best fit for them
- All On-Campus Recruiting Activities
- Official & Unofficial visits
- Special events – junior days / walk-on days
- Camp dates and formats
- Customer service standards, initiatives and processes
• Liaison with Academics in regard to all Prospective Student Athlete issues
Football Admissions Liaison
- Coordinate & communicate navigation of admissions process with admissions office + compliance academics
- Manage incoming On-Boarding of incoming players
• Help create and implement cutting edge branding to showcase our program, players, and staff
- Marketing and Social Media Campaigns
- External messaging to recruits
- External messaging & marketing campaigns to fans/stakeholders
- Internal & external branding
- Gameday experience for stadium
• Oversee Recruiting Budget
- Recruiting Services Liaison
- Determine service purchase & implementation
- Keep up on new and emerging technologies
- Recruiting Travel
- OV Travel
- Jr Day’s
• Assist in Managing NIL Strategies
• Manage Portal Evals

Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience working with a Collegiate or Professional Football program.
Other Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with a Collegiate or Professional Football program
- Computer literacy and expertise
- Technical football knowledge
- Excellent oral and written skills required
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior collegiate football recruiting experience preferred.
Required License(s) or Certification(s)
A valid NC driver’s license or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of start date is required. Must be maintained as a condition of employment.
