SALARY: $72,538.00 - $113,012.00 Annually

The purpose of this class is to provide leadership and oversee planning, direction, control and evaluation of all work associated with the day to day operation of assigned College division or function.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field.  Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale

Master's degree, five years experience and CPA certification preferred.  Knowledge of financial and budgeting guidelines and procedures.  Experienced in financial management and the related functional areas of:  budgeting, payroll, systems support.  Knowledge of pertinent laws and regulations as they relate to payment of wages and employee benefits, as well as tuition assistance and federal financial aid programs with higher education experience preferred.  Must have a valid driver's license in good standing with violation points less than five (5).
  1. Plan, coordinate and implement projects, programs and/or initiatives.
  2. Supervise, advise, and evaluate assigned staff.
  3. Serve as liaison between college departments, vendors, government agencies, and/or other external organizations.
  4. Provide oversight and support to Finance, Budget, Payroll, and Systems Support departments/functions.
  5. Develop, analyze and implement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of assigned departments/functions.
  6. Provide routine and special reports and information to appropriate individuals and/or agencies.

  1. Analyze and provide evaluation to senior staff and direction on spending against budget throughout the year.
  2. Monitor ConEd/online salary budget, position controls, salary budget development and monitor by position.
  3. Provide fiscal data analysis necessary for program level strategic planning and resource allocation.
  4. Develop cost analysis and pro forma documents necessary to justify program level investment decisions.
  5. Develop revenue and FTE projections as needed.
  6. In cooperation with CE/Online Operations, manage, monitor, and assess fiscal systems and data necessary to produce an accurate CE state report for state funding.
  7. Provide ongoing support and consultation to CE/Online/Assistant Deans/Directors to ensure the fiscal health of their programs.
