High School diploma, SERV Safe Managers Certification
Work Experience
2+ years of work experience required in hospitality/kitchen/foodservice establishment/environment in a management position.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1. Evidence of strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and effective oral and written communication/public relations skills.
2. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
3. Hands-on experience with grab-n-go marketing, motivation of employees to meet expectations, and execute tasks to expectations.
4. Able to prepare and set up catering events on/off campus.
5. Able to adhere to sanitation guidelines, and attend any mandatory state and local code change seminars with Chef and Sous Chef. Able to then communicate those changes to front-of-house staff and implement them in that area.
Essential Functions
The Cafe Assistant Manager is responsible for a variety of tasks, including front-of-house duties, Helping with after-hours and weekend catering, and menu development. They must also ensure that the place abides by all applicable laws and promotes an enjoyable dining experience with excellent customer service.
Job Duties
1. Operating cash register and waiting on customers.
2. Delivering food in a timely manner, meeting pre-established delivery times and
Maintain the quality of food.
3. Wiping down tables in café, cleaning salad bar and beverage areas, and
maintaining/replenishing s, cutlery, napkins, etc.
4. Complete other duties assigned by supervisor(s).

Required Working Hours
A maximum of a 40 hour work week as determined with the supervisor to allow the employee to fulfill the assigned duties and responsibilities, including evening and occasional weekend hours. This position will work Monday-Friday Café hours and will make avHiring Range
