Olivet College MBA Program
Olivet College, a liberal arts college located in southwest Michigan, seeks Adjunct Instructors for its expanding MBA program, to work with students and instruct in this program.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The instructor(s) will be responsible for one or more of the following courses:
MBA 803 Global Insurance and Risk Management (3 credits)
MBA 809 Strategic Marketing (3 credits)
MBA 810 Managerial Economics (3 credits)
MBA 811 Corporate Accounting (3 credits)
MBA 820 Quantitative Analysis and Decision Making for Management (3credits)
MBA 821 Advanced Spreadsheets and Databases (3 credits)
MBA 840 Financial Management of Property and Casualty Insurers (3credits)
MBA 890 Strategic Management of Property Casualty Insurers (3 credits)
Candidates should bring the ability to create a positive classroom experience using technology to teach face-to-face, synchronously online, and asynchronously online. A passionate commitment to mentoring adult professionals in a collaborative environment is required. There is some flexibility with the scheduled days and times for course offerings.
REQUIREMENTS: Interested individuals should be experienced in the construction and delivery of courses using a learning management system, preferably Blackboard.
MBA or higher degree required. CPCU along with insurance background required for insurance-specific courses.
We are seeking candidates with specializations in the content areas above.
Preferred Qualifications: PhD; experience with online course delivery; two years of higher education instruction; and at least five years of experience in insurance for insurance-specific courses.
STARTING DATE: Ongoing as needed.
