The Temporary Evening Coordinator, under the supervision of the Outreach & Recruitment Coordinator from Adult Education and ESL Division, is responsible for maintaining the Waukegan High School Extension Site (WHSW) area so that the instructors can have access to copy machines and other office facilities; answering inquiries about all CLC programs and course offerings; enforcing rules and regulations for both the College and WHSW; handling room conflicts; disseminating information; assisting instructors in room set-up and audio-visual as needed and providing overall assistance to CLC faculty.
01. Bachelor’s degree or higher.
02. Employee of Waukegan School District 60.
03. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
04. The ability to make sound decisions and to take charge as necessary.
01. At least 2-3 years experience in a supervisory position with heavy public contact.
02. Bilingual; Fluent in Spanish and English.
Special Instructions Summary
This is a part-time flex position and employment shall be on an at-will basis, the duration of which shall be in accordance with the needs of the College of Lake County.
-Part-time flex employees are not eligible to participate in any benefits program at the College, including tuition reimbursement, tuition waiver, health insurance or paid time off.
Total Hours per weekNot to exceed 19 hours
Evening class hours are Monday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m.-10:15 p.m.
Shift hours can vary. Typical is from 6:00 pm – 10 pm. Schedule can be 2- 4 days per week not to exceed 19 hours per week.
