College of Lake County has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employment Recruiter. In this role you will interact with all areas of the College to develop and execute recruiting plans to fill various FT and PT staff, Adjunct faculty and PT Flex position vacancies, by seeking candidates that support the College’s values and mission; Will develop applicant sources, network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees; Maintain related recruitment records and costs, and assist with other related reporting and projects.

Regular Part-Time Board established positions earn Vacation and Sick Leave and Tuition waiver for CLC classes and Tuition Reimbursement for advanced degrees. In addition, employees are eligible to participate in the State University Retirement System (SURS)
Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, sales, or related field.
One or more years in successful recruiting and interviewing experience.
Results driven approach with demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements in a timely manner.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written skills with proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
Experience using ATS software; intermediate internet research skills; beginner to intermediate Excel/spreadsheet skills and Word/word processing skills.
Demonstrated professionalism and ability to exercise sound judgment.
Ability to support of Diversity initiatives along with the College’s Mission, Vision, Values and Goals.
Ability to work effectively and constructively with persons of diverse cultures, language groups, and abilities; demonstrate sensitivity to and ability to work with the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
HR Professional Certification such as PHR/SPHR.
Experience working in higher education or public schools.
Experience using social media in recruiting and building employer brand.
Experience with Human Resources Information Systems.

Pay Rate$22.83 per hour
Total Hours per week25 hours per week; Pending 7/1 Budget and Board Approval
Work may involve some evenings in order to conduct interviews or contact applicants.
May require some travel to attend job fairs.
