 Position Announcement

Discipline: P/T Senior Tutor (WEOC)

Department/School:  Westchester Educational Opportunity Center (WEOC) 

Responsibilities:   The Westchester Educational Opportunity Center is seeking a P/T Senior Tutor to support the development of adult learners’ reading, writing, math and/or english language skills.

Qualifications: A BA/BS degree is required.  A minimum of 1 year of tutoring experience, preferably in an educational setting with under-prepared students, is strongly preferred.  The successful candidate must have expert knowledge in subject area and strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite is required.  Hours: flexible, day and/or evening.

Rate of Pay: $13.00 per hour for a maximum of 28 hours a week. No benefits.  This position is fully grant funded.
