The position of Director of Workforce Education will work within the Continuing Education Division and play an integral role in the designing and implementing of workforce training and education programs to meet the needs of business and industry in the Permian Basin. The director will play a key role in strategic planning, program development, training and education, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, instructor recruitment and onboarding, student recruitment, data analysis, and budgeting and compliance.

Design and coordinate customized and existing training to local business and industry

Hire, train, and supervise instructors for workforce education trainings and programs

Oversee course quality course components for workforce education programs

Provide oversight for classroom/lab supplies and course material needs

Lead workforce course and program development

Collaborate with Business Development Coordinator to meet industry partner needs

Report and maintain students’ Industry Based Credential attainment

Maintain students’ post completion and placement results

Oversight and creation of Master calendar and schedule for workforce programs/ courses

Oversee budget for workforce programs

Oversee third-party billing

Act as liaison for outside accrediting agencies for workforce programs/courses

Assist with promotion, marketing, and recruitment for the Continuing Education Division

Other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s Degree required;

Highly developed skills in written and verbal communication,

Organization,

Personal responsibility, and Enthusiasm;

Basic knowledge of computers and software packages;

Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends on occasion;

Master’s Degree in Business or Related Field

Previous experience in Continuing Education or Designing Workforce Training Programs
