Delivery of packages and mail to all SLCC Campuses. Assist with receiving of all packages using current software. Assist Surplus with pick-ups, transfers and maintaining the sales floor and warehouse.
Completing of work orders assigned to Central Receiving and Surplus and other assigned areas.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities as a courier to deliver packages and other items to all SLCC Campus sites, pick up Surplus items and help organize Surplus, warehouse storage, furniture stock, package staging areas and inventory control. Act as receiving agent at the warehouse or any off site location and complete facilities work orders as directed. Act as a cashier for surplus public sales.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties Continued
Act as a college courier to pick up package, mail and lost and found items. Use computer software to track items coming in and out of the warehouse. Assist when needed with other Facilities crafts and areas, and other duties as assigned.
6 plus months of shipping and receiving experience
High school Diploma or GED equivalent
Valid Utah Driver’s License
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Able to lift 75 lbs., fork lift certifiable within 3 months and have a valid Utah driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities.
