The purpose of this position is to provide financial aid assistance to students and the community while keeping in compliance with Federal, State, and Institutional regulations.
-Educate students regarding Financial Literacy and student loans.
-Collect and process Undocumented students application and determine eligibility.
-Collect and process Texas Veterans Hazlewood application and determine eligibility.
-Assist students with work-study employment opportunities and process required documents.
-Respond to email request submitted by students.
Two years experience in the field of education, student services, and/or service to the public.
General knowledge of computer technology and software applications in order to utilize specific software related to student financial aid.
