Position Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure that the department has an adequate supply of equipment and components in the labs to allow students and instructors to perform experiments in a smooth and orderly fashion. Provides safe and clean laboratories to ensure student safety. Orders supplies, prepares solutions, prepares labs for several biology courses including BIO106, BIO110, and BIO 111. Provides technical assistance to instructors as needed. Supervises student workers.
Associate degree or equivalent (must have a minimum of 34 credit hours and an additional two (2) years of relevant work experience), and over one (1) year of laboratory work experience.
Associate degree or higher in biology or another branch of the life sciences.
