The Carpenter II is the primary carpenter for the Merced Community College District. The Carpenter II is involved in construction and/or demolition of several carpentry projects on our three sites that involves tasks such as framing and constructing wall systems, and setting and pouring concrete. The Carpenter II also works with and assists other skilled trades that include: electricians, HVAC, and general maintenance. The Carpenter II is a valuable member of Merced College's Maintenance and Operations Department and holds a critical role in the daily operations that ensure our students and staff have a safe environment to learn, teach, and work.
