We are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst who will advance the institution’s proud tradition of excellence in academics, student life and community service.
You: You’re a detailed, results, and team-oriented Business Analyst who relishes the opportunity to be a key Liaison between the Technology and Business worlds for large and small projects.
Your mission: As a Senior Business Analyst, when issues arise with the PeopleSoft application, your challenge will be determining whether a software modification is needed, a business process requires re-engineering or both.
Your work: In this role, you’ll utilize your analytical skills in all aspects of the Requirements Lifecycle Management process, plan the Business Analysis Strategy, evaluate alternative approaches and make recommendations based on your findings. You’ll readily apply Business Analysis Tools & Techniques to all projects; large and small. You'll collaborate with other Technology experts in the design, development, and deployment of high-quality technical solutions to be utilized in meeting business goals and objectives.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or a related field required. Eight (8) years directly related work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Three (3) years experience with progressively increasing responsibility in related subject matter.
Two (2) years experience as a business analyst working with PeopleSoft in production required.
Experience implementing PeopleSoft required.
Experience in a community college environment preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to function independently on project work and to interface with all levels of the HCC organization in carrying out the duties of this position
Ability to organize data in clear and logical manner for reporting purposes
Ability to analyze and evaluate complex information from internal and external sources
