Job Description

The Department of Finance at Western Kentucky University invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Finance in the Gordon Ford College of Business for Fall 2024. Primary teaching responsibilities include undergraduate courses in corporate finance and investments with availability in the banking area, depending upon interest.

With the filling of this position, there will be nine full-time faculty in the Department of Finance. This faculty position will be a vital part of a growing program within the Gordon Ford College of Business. We are seeking candidates demonstrating evidence to provide leadership for research, curricula, and student success in Finance.

The Gordon Ford College of Business at Western Kentucky University is AACSB accredited in Business as well as Accounting. There are approximately 2,200 undergraduate and 150 graduate majors in the Gordon Ford College of Business.

 


Job Requirements:


Candidates for the position must have a doctorate in Finance or a related field. ABD's near completion will also be considered. Applicants must show evidence of engaged teaching and research potential.
