CLASS DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this class is to provide support for the annual online college catalog and  creation of the print version. To include Banner changes, ongoing coordination with the academic schools and administration for ensuring degree requirements conform to COMAR regulations.  Position performs administrative duties in coordinating the daily operations of transfer evaluations including Military, traditional and non-traditional course work of the assigned college division or function. Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field.  Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Higher Education, or related field, and three (3) years' experience in a student services environment.  Knowledge of and experience with state, external agencies and college regulations governing academic and enrollment policies, i.e. COMAR, MHEC, AACRAO, FERPA. Experience using a student information system (preferably Ellucian Banner) and document imaging. Must have a valid driver's license in good standing with moving violation points less than five (5).

CLASS SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  1. Updating the annual College Catalog using specialized software.
  2. Coordinate with the academic schools and administration curriculum, degree requirements, policy and other information to ensure timely submission for posting the catalog online and providing print versions to stakeholders and MHEC.
  3. Support the design, documentation, testing, implementation and management of data collection for Military, Non-traditional and traditional students.
  4. Access student transcripts, evaluate and post credits.
  5. Attend state wide catalog, transfer meetings and seminars.
  6. Coordinate a functional process within assigned College department or division.
  7. Assist upper management in developing policies and procedures.
  8. Monitor compliance with policies and procedures.
  9. Maintains department records and files, as required.
  10. Prepare, analyze and provide reports as requested.
POSITION SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  1.  Support the gathering of data and integrate it into software systems, i.e. TES.
  2. Utilize the ACALOG online catalog, Banner modules including the Articulation Module and other software to update and maintain current course equivalencies, degree and certificate information. 
  3.  Review and analyze existing sources of credit equivalency information (i.e. A.C.E. credit guides online, etc.) to prepare for submission to faculty and staff for review and evaluation.
  4. Provide training to faculty in an individualized or group setting on reviewing military course evaluations providing summary updates as changes occur.
  5. Analyze and deliver data in useable/comprehensive forms as requested.
  6. Generate reports based on stakeholder needs.
  7. Collect and review data for the Sr. Director/Registrar, Associate Registrar and Administrator, Evaluation & Reverse Transfer Services.   
  8. Attend and participate in all ATPL meetings with the Associate Registrar and Administrator, Evaluation & Reverse Transfer Services.
  9. Review, evaluate and posts credits for all official transcripts (i.e. college/military, domestic and international transcripts, standardized assessments, documentation of experiential learning and professional certifications, domestic and international students)
  10. Support visiting and online program students with unofficial transcript review to facilitate enrollment process.
  11. Post appropriate credit to student records for credit by exam and submit yearly report.   
  12. Manage the review of Reverse Transfer groups and work on expanding the program, support student degree audit review for degree completion.
