Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
Working in support of the IT and facilities operations responsibilities of the User and Systems
Support (USS) team, this position provides primary management of IT and facilities projects that
support the maintenance and improvement of the Libraries technology-equipped physical
spaces. The position may propose projects or be assigned projects by Libraries management
or administration. In all cases, the PM will be relied upon to develop comprehensive project
plans that ensure projects are well-executed and completed within time and budget constraints.
The PM works and maintains effective relationships with campus partners, including Division of
IT and Facilities Management, as well as vendors and other external contractors.
The PM works in a highly collaborative team environment and will support initiatives and
activities that lead to teamwide success.

Education:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
5 years experience managing projects of varying complexity.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferences:

- Experience in higher education preferred.
- Experience in facilities and/or IT settings preferred.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred
