Westmoreland County Community College is looking to fill a full-time Functional Analyst/Administrative Services position for the Youngwood, PA Campus.
The Functional Analyst for Administrative Services is responsible for providing support in advancing innovative, efficient, and effective technology solutions to assist the College in meeting its goals.
This position will serve as a vital member of the College team leading the business process redesign project based on future state of the college processes that pertain to the new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, consulting with users; participating in analysis of user requests; evaluating software packages; and testing and implementing technology solutions to support administrative, accounting, procurement, facilities, procedural, and policy changes. This position serves as a liaison between functional users in Administrative Services, College administrators, and Information Technology to ensure that necessary technical requirements are addressed and process objectives are met.
The position requires an associate degree in a related field. (Bachelor's degree preferred); Three to five years of related work experience. (a primary focus on high quality, innovative service delivery, data management, and analysis). Higher education experience is preferred; Experience in MS Excel and possess data analytical skills; Experience working with functional and technical aspects of accounting, budgeting, procurement and facilities systems preferred; Evidence of project management skills is required; Valid driver’s license; Sufficient analytical skills to perform daily recordkeeping activities; Proven ability to work independently as well as possess excellent decision-making and judgment skills; Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; Excellent organizational skills – including the ability to prioritize multiple work duties and manage conflicting tasks while paying attention to detail; Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, composure, and a customer-focused attitude while carrying out all job responsibilities; Demonstrated ability to interact professionally and confidentially with the college community and the public; Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population while exercising discretion and good judgement; PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA Criminal Record Check Clearance and FBI Federal Criminal History Record Clearance at employee’s expense; Prior work performance must have met or exceeded appropriate work standards. Ability to perform the essential responsibilities/functions of this position.
