The Tutor II will assist students with academic writing assignments across the curriculum.

Requires an interview with the Student Services Coordinator and the Writing Center Faculty Coordinator.
The ability to communicate and interact effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities and/or one of the following:1. An Associate of Arts or Sciences degree, or higher, OR junior year standing at a four-year college. 2. A minimum of two semesters experience as a Tutor I and recommendation from the Student Services Coordinator and the Writing Center Faculty Coordinator.
3. One year minimum experience in a college writing center.
4. Training in an accepted tutor training course comparable to CLC’s Eng. 260 course or willingness to take Eng. 260.
-Associate’s degree or higher, preferably an Associate’s in Arts degree.
