Job Description

Class Description

The Director, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging provides departmental leadership and direction consistent with the strategic vision of both the division of Academic and Student Affairs and the College.  Cross-divisional collaboration and support are essential elements of the position.  

Minimum Requirements

Masters degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, or related field required. Three (3) years of supervisory experience is required. Five (5) years of experience advancing equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging with the ability to work with, advise, and support the success of culturally, ethnically, and socioeconomically diverse students from diverse disciplines, preferably at a community college. Experience serving as a content-related expert and resource to faculty members, students, and staff working with students is required.   Experience with developing and implementing goals, learning outcomes and assessment programs is preferred.

Compensation within the above posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field.  Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.
