Adjunct Instructor - Accounting
Job Description
Job responsibilities include preparing and teaching Financial Accounting and/or Managerial Account. The instructor would collaborate with the Business faculty and the Faculty Development Team as needed to ensure continued success. This is a part-time faculty position, and the instructor could teach from one to three classes. Continued adjunct teaching is a possibility beyond the Spring term. Butler uses Canvas, Zoom, and Office 365. There could also be required software specific to your discipline required. Free training is offered and required.
This position is at the El Dorado Correctional Facility and will require the applicant complete a one week, 40-hour training prior to beginning classes. Compensation for the training is provided. It will also require a background check.

Qualifications
Required knowledge and skills
Teaching experience is preferred.
Required experience
18 hours of graduate level credit hours in Accounting or CPA or two years of related professional accounting experience.
Required educational background
The successful candidate must have a bachelors degree in business administration, accounting, marketing, or management. Masters preferred.
