Position Summary
This position will work under the guidance of the Academic Director EDUC to prepare for The New Mexico Public Education Department Accreditation process to maintain SFCCs Standing within the state. This position will hold and coordinate state-mandated requirements to achieve NAEYC accreditation. Must be committed to serving a diverse community. Actively participates in and contributes to continuous quality improvement.
Duties & Responsibilities
- This position will hold and coordinate state-mandated requirements to achieve NAEYC accreditation.
- Gathers of data per Early Childhood classes.
- Updates curriculum
- Works with Faculty to ensure data charts and spreadsheets are UpToDate
- Remains current on information per requirements for accreditation
- Reaches out to local school districts and Early Childhood Education facilities
- Meets with department director to regularly review on progress,
- Meets with full-time EC faculty per progress and next action steps.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 Years Experience in Early Childhood field teaching at an 1HE
- BA in early Childhood or related education field
- An understanding of the higher education landscape
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Early Childhood education field in multiple settings including higher education.
