Job Description

 

Southwestern College (SWC) is seeking a dynamic, visionary, and highly skilled Registrar to work in a collaborative, consciousness-centered, and transformational learning environment. The College Registrar maintains the academic records of all students and oversees all registration and graduation processes at SWC. The Registrar builds and maintains collaborative working relationships with students, administration, and faculty to support academic programming. The Registrar acts as a central communication resource for academic and policy information related to student records and associated data management and is responsible for maintenance and integrity of academic records.

Key responsibilities include management of scheduling, registration, records, graduation, data tracking, and reporting, and of our continuing education program registration and CEU administration. In addition, the Registrar is responsible for remaining current in the field and for leveraging best practices to ensure an equitable and inclusive environment for students and colleagues. As with all staff roles at SWC, the Registrar position is rooted in our mission of Transforming Consciousness Through Education and in our values: Partnership, Empowerment, Mindfulness, Service, and Love.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.A and a minimum of five years experience with progressive experience in a registrar/student services functional capacity within a higher education institution.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters degree with demonstrated successful experience carrying out the duties of a Registrar position.
  • Experience working in a transformational learning environment. Working knowledge of the mission and vision of SWC.

  • Experience working with data and reporting of data

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
