Director of Nursing Education Education

CCD's nursing programs are designed to create competent, ethical, and confident health care practitioners in an innovative, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

The Director of Nursing Education Program (DNEP) at CCD functions within the mission, philosophy, and procedures of the college, the policies of the Colorado Community College System and standard of the State board of nursing. Plans, organizes, and supervises CCDs Practical Nursing (PN) Program, the Integrated nursing Pathway (INP), the Nurse Aide Program, and the future LPN to BSN program.

Duties:
- Develop and implement educational programs and initiatives to support the organization's goals and objectives.
- Oversee the design and delivery of educational materials, resources, and training programs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify educational needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Manage a team of educators and instructional designers, providing guidance and support.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs through data analysis and feedback from participants.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in education to ensure program relevance and quality.
- Foster relationships with external partners, such as universities or professional organizations, to enhance educational offerings.
- Develop and manage the education department budget.

Requirements:
- Master of Science Degree in Nursing from a Nursing Education Program with national nursing accreditation.

- An active Unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Colorado.

- Proven experience in developing and implementing educational programs.

- Two years of full-time, or equivalent, experience in teaching in an approved Nursing Education

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $94,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
