Job Description

 

Sussex County Community College currently has a position opening for an adjunct instructor to teach the Music course Piano I, II, and III with the possibility of private lessons and/or other needs in our Music Program on our Newton campus starting in January 2024.

 

Required Education/Experience by Discipline

Applicants must have a Bachelor's or Masters degree in Music or Music Education with first-hand experience in group piano pedagogy.

Two years teaching experience is preferred (especially at the collegiate level). Experience teaching college level group piano classes is greatly preferred.

 

Education

• Bachelor's degree, Master's (Preferred) or current enrollment in a Masters program.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Music with a concentration in piano or experience in group piano instruction.
