Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) is a multi-campus institution with vibrant, urban campuses in Boston, Massachusetts, in nearby Chelsea, Massachusetts, and at several satellites and instructional sites throughout the Greater Boston area. Job Description:

BHCC is seeking dynamic adjunct faculty to teach in the Visual Media Arts Department beginning Spring Semester between 01/23/2024-05/15/2024.

Available course:

VMA-130 Social Media Strategy (Mondays, In-person, 2:30 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.)

In this course, students will explore techniques and strategies of social media marketing and public relations that can be used to promote a company, and individual or a product. Through case studies and exercises students will learn how to identify business objectives and how a marketing campaign is created. Students will learn to reach an audience through an integrated marketing approach that uses social media, online video, podcasts, mobile apps, blogs, news releases, viral marketing, marketing, print and other current tools and channels. Career pathways will be identified and explored.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree required; Master's degree preferred. 
  • A portfolio of professional work that demonstrates skills in marketing, print or Interactive/web production. 
  • Commitment to advancing equity and access in the classroom. 
  • College teaching experience, especially at community college level, preferred. 
  • Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population. 


Additional Information:

Salary: $1,291.00 per credit hour
