Job Function

The Grant Coordinator will work closely with the IT Grant to ensure that grant data collection, reports, and program requirements are completed accurately and on time. The Grant Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of grant activities and will assist with the development and implementation of all grant requirements. The coordinator will also conduct outreach and facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the grant requirements are met.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Work with the Director- IT Grant Program and collaborate with the academic IT department to ensure grant funds are used effectively and a project goals are achieved
  • Coordinate and assist in the delivery of all grant program activities including scheduling and hosting events, communicating with all event participants and stakeholders, and tracking outcomes
  • Assist the Grant Director in the management of grant budgets and expenditures including purchasing of grant items and payments of vendors, faculty and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of all grant program activities.
  • Coordinate and prepare reports required to document grant activities and expenditures.
  • Support the Grant Director to ensure compliance with all grant program requirements and regulations
  • Assist with the implementation of grant-funded projects
  • Collaborate with grant program stakeholders including external partners, government agencies, and internal teams to meet grant requirements
  • Support staff on grant program activities and requirements
  • Stay current with changes to grant program regulations and requirements
  • Conduct research, evaluate findings, and presents findings to grant administrator
  • Submits program expenditures for supplies, equipment, services and reimbursement approval
  • Must be willing to travel to support program activity as needed
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to lead and participate in outreach efforts
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field required

Qualifications

2 years or more of experience working with grant programs or related role
