Job Description

East Arkansas Community College is accepting applications for a full-time, nine-month {acuity
position in Mathematics.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Working a minimum of thirty-five hours on
campus per week; delivering both lecture and online instruction courses including Algebra,
Calculus, Statistics and other college level math courses or pre-college. Advising students;
serving on college committees; designing curriculum; maintaining course records and
assessments; fulfilling other duties as assigned. Some off-campus, night, and/or weekend
instruction, including concurrent students in service• area high schools, may be required.
Summer teaching is optional.

Qualifications: A master's degree in Math, Math Education, or closely related field with
eighteen graduate hours in the Mathematics discipline is required; previous teaching
experience, both face-to-face and online, in higher education, specifically at the community
college level, is preferred.

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
