The primary purpose of this role includes but is not limited to:
Serve as TIM Administrator and the submitter of all HR actions. Some of these duties may include:
Employee Recruitment and Selection: Assist in the recruitment process by developing job descriptions, posting vacancies, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
Policy Implementation: Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including ADA, FMLA, EEO, and other relevant regulations.

Minimum Experience/Education
- At least 2-3 years working in a HR office within higher education
- 2-3 years of working in UNC-specific systems (such as ConnectCarolina) is highly preferred

Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and administrators, both orally and in writing.

Data Analysis: Competency in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting HR data to inform decision-making, track trends, and evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other relevant software applications for managing employee data, generating reports, and automating HR processes
