Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Industry-Based Certifications (IBCs) Management:
  • Collaborate with faculty to gather and manage IBCs, ensuring compliance and relevance to industry standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation related to IBCs.

2. SNAP Program Management:
  • Oversee the management of the SNAP program, including program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Ensure compliance with program requirements and regulations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for program inquiries and support.

3. Industry Advisory Meetings and List Management:
  • Coordinate and manage industry advisory meetings, fostering strong relationships with industry stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update the industry advisory list, ensuring it reflects current industry trends and needs.

4. Handshake Platform Management:
  • Help manage and optimize the use of the Handshake platform to facilitate student-employer connections.
  • Collaborate with academic departments to ensure student profiles and opportunities are up-to-date.

5. Industry Collaboration for Student Placement:
  • Actively work with industry partners to identify and secure job placement opportunities for students.
  • Facilitate communication and networking events between students and potential employers.

6. General Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategies to enhance workforce education and recruitment initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on program progress and outcomes.
  • Participate in professional development and stay informed about trends in workforce education.

Other Duties as assigned

Required Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Education, Workforce Development, or related field.
  • Experience in workforce education, career services, or industry partnership roles.
  • Strong understanding of industry certifications and workforce training programs.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using career services software and data management systems.
