Position Summary 
Reporting to the Head Coach, Womens Basketball, the Director of Womens 
Basketball Operations will coordinate and organize all administrative functions 
within the Womens Basketball Program.  
 
This position requires frequent travel, as well as evening and weekend hours. 
 
Essential Functions 
∙ Coordinates and organizes all administrative functions within the Womens 
  Basketball Program. 
∙ Acts as the liaison with Residential Life, Dining Services, Academic 
  Advising as well as with Development and other University departments to 
  ensure proper connections and correspondence are being made with the 
  Head Coach. 
∙ Attends all practices and all home and away games. 
∙ Schedules the use of appropriate facilities and meeting rooms for practice 
  and competition. 
∙ Plans and executes team travel arrangements (hotel, transportation, 
  meals, etc.) 
∙ Assists with on-campus recruiting duties as allowed by NCAA and Atlantic 
  10 policies and recruits qualified student workers and managers to assist 
  both in office and on court. 
∙ Coordinates office organization, including assigning student workers and 
  monitoring daily communications with outside constituents. 
∙ Assists Video Coordinator with videotaping practices, games, and tape 
  exchange. 
∙ Assists with tracking and monitoring compliance efforts in association with 
  the departments compliance office. 
∙ Complies with all NCAA, Atlantic 10 Conference, and University rules and 
  regulations.

Management Responsibilities 
Guides work of other employees who perform essentially the same work and/or 
student workers. Organizes, sets priorities, schedules and reviews work, but is 
generally not responsible for final decisions in hiring, performance management 
or compensation. 
 
Additional Functions 
∙ Attends Fundraising events upon request to support the program. 
 
Required Qualifications: Education and Experience 
∙ Bachelors Degree and minimum of 3 years experience working in athletic 
  administration or coaching environment or an equivalent combination of 
  education and experience. 
 
Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills 
∙ High level organizational skills 
∙ Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
∙ Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. 
∙ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
∙ Valid Drivers License 
∙ Ability to follow instructions and be solution-oriented; problem-solver 
  mentality. 
∙ Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the 
  goals of Jesuit Education. 
 
Preferred Qualifications 
∙ Experience working in athletics in a collegiate environment. 
 
Minimum Starting Salary: $65,000 
 
Maximum Starting Salary: $75,000 
 
Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
