- Three years of related experience preferably in higher education, or AA degree and five years of experience, or a combination of experience and higher education equal to seven years.
- Advanced computer skills including complex word processing, email, spreadsheets, database management, search engines, keyboarding skills, and other software applications.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and the general public.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree; University experience; knowledge of University academic policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and strong customer service experience.

- Process and maintain undergraduate and graduate student record changes in Banner database including but not limited to program change forms, withdrawal forms, Leave of Absence applications, completion of minor forms, and grades.
Duty/Responsibility
- This team is responsible for the coordination of degree conferral. Works with academic departments to review academic records to ensure students have satisfied degree requirements.
- Runs reports to identify missing requirements and performs outreach to students and academic departments as necessary.
- Manages three degree conferral periods a year.

- Work with academic departments and deans offices on student record issues.

- With Assistant and Associate Registrars, develop policies and practices to manage, monitor, and recommends improvements for Registrars Office functions, operations, and systems.
- Interpret and apply a variety of procedures, policies, and precedents.
- Independent decision making in lieu of Assistant or Associate Registrars based on established guidelines.
