Teach college level Accounting courses at Alamance Community College. 

Example of Duties

Teach college level Accounting courses at Alamance Community College. Teach curriculum courses in Accounting. Courses are taught in traditional seated, online, and hybrid formats. Other tasks will include the development of syllabi and tests; identifying and assessing student learning outcomes; continuously improving instructional quality by reviewing and utilizing innovative methodologies, techniques, and delivery methods; excellent communication skills with the student and the Department Head; maintaining accurate records of student work and attendance; grading and returning student work in a timely manner; and holding weekly office hours 

Typical Qualifications

Required: Masters degree in Accounting, or 18+ graduate credit hours in Accounting from a regionally-accredited institution; at least one year of teaching experience. 

Preference will be given to applicants with community college teaching experience and experience with Moodle course management systems or similar LMS

  • Unofficial transcripts from all degree-granting, regionally accredited institutions MUST be electronically attached to your application, or submitted to Human Resources, prior to being considered for an interview.
  • Foreign degree evaluations must be attached in lieu of transcripts for degrees earned outside the United States.
