Job Summary/Basic Function:
Provides administrative support to achieve attainment of recruiting goals and retention set by the Director of High School Partnerships and Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) Council. Provides specialized coordination of admissions and quarterly enrollment into the Running Start program.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSBILITIES
  • Serve as a lead program specialist for the customer services of the Running Start program which includes providing student-focused customer service via multiple mediums (in-person, email, phone, text, and virtually) to a diverse population and coordinating, processing, and responding to the assigned email, phone and text lines, and virtual platforms with clear, accurate, and complete communication.
  • Serve as lead program specialist for daily operations and monthly reporting of the Running Start program which includes generation and communication of Running Start reports (minimum 3 times per month).
  • Support the operations and customer service of all dual credit programs (Running Start, College in the High School, and Career and Technical Education) under the High School Partnerships department.
  • Create and maintain records for over 1300 Running Start students from over 50 different high schools.
  • Process applications, coding updates, enrollment verification forms, and fee waivers.
  • Coordinate, host, and conduct dual credit information sessions for prospective students and families as part of recruitment efforts.
  • Establish and maintain a database of Running Start applicants to provide follow-up services and respond to the needs of prospective students.
  • Manage a database of current Running Start students to provide retention services.
  • Lead the Running Start fee waiver in the areas of but not limited to overseeing institutional policy and procedures, student communication, student retention, and more.
  • Support college's recruitment and retention efforts through different modes of communication including email, texting, phone calls, webpage editing, tabling, and presentations.
  • Maintain and update webpage content, forms and documents related to dual credit programs on a regular basis.
  • Retrieve and send quarterly Grade Reports to high school partners.
  • Collaborate with the Counseling Center to manage quarterly academic standing reports, as well as correspond with high school counselor's student academic probation lists.
  • Retrieve daily registration reports to ensure student account accuracy and make corrections as needed.
  • Work closely with the EvCC Institutional Research department to monitor Running Start data and create quarterly reports for institutional use.
  • Collect information on high school course equivalencies to support dual credit programs.
  • Support students, parents/legal guardians, and school district/high school partners with regard to dual credit programs' admissions, enrollment, registration, payment, and other customer service needs.
  • Perform office work such as filing, copying, scanning, faxing, and ordering of supplies and materials.
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of exceptional customer service experience
  • One or more years of data process and/or management
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong self-initiative with the ability to work and problem solve independently
  • Ability to accomplish repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to consistently deliver high quality work while balancing multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to work with others of various ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Intermediate to advanced level computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and Access database programs


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree
  • Previous experience working with confidential records and/or information
  • Previous experience working with application processing and registration in a college or university setting
  • Previous experience working with Running Start, Dual Credit programs, or working in the K-12 system and/or working with high-school aged students and their parents/guardians
  • Adapts in changing environments; able to be flexible in shifting projects or priorities to meet needs
  • Bilingual and/or biliterate

Work Hours: Position is an in-person position, Monday through Friday from 8:00AM until 5:00PM with at least one evening shift of 9:00AM until 6:00PM per week. Position does follow summer hours of four 10-hour days (Monday through Thursday) 7:00AM until 6:00PM
