Job Summary

The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Rheumatology and C. S. Mott Children's Hospital at Michigan Medicine are seeking a full-time clinical Pediatric Rheumatology faculty member at the Clinical Assistant Professor rank contingent upon qualifications. In this position, the candidate will focus on providing exceptional clinical care to the pediatric and young adult patients with juvenile idiopathic arthritis and rheumatic diseases in the inpatient as well as outpatient clinical settings. Candidate will also have opportunities to engage in research as a part of their academic and scholarly activity and participate in the educational activities for the trainees as well as medical students. 

The Pediatric Rheumatology program at Michigan Medicine is a tertiary and quaternary referral center for the state of Michigan and upper midwestern states. Our Pediatric Rheumatology program manages approximately 1,250 new patients and 3,700 return visits per year. The C.S. Mott Children's Hospital at the University of Michigan is ranked #3 in Midwest and #1 in Michigan by the US News and World Report.

Required Qualifications*

The ideal candidate will have an MD or DO degree, must have completed a fellowship in Pediatric Rheumatology, be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics, and will hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. Evidence of excellence in clinical care and clinical and/or didactic teaching is expected.
