Provide customer service and account support to aid in collection and daily operation activities for Student Loans & Receivables Office. Work hours: 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday (with some flexibility and based on department needs).
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Perform accounts receivable collection, Bankruptcy Audits, promissory notes, payment plans, and general office/clerical functions, which may include, but is not limited to: invoicing, account research, student/public relations, answering phones, collection calls, writing letters, filing/scanning, assisting students by answering phones, questions and providing account information. Perform other functions to facilitate the college and Student Loans & Receivable department goals and operations. Other duties as assigned.
Customer Service Skills, Proficient using Microsoft Office, and General Office Knowledge & Experience.
One year of post-high school education.
One year additional direct experience or training.

Knowledge of general office procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with a board range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic backgrounds, to maintain good working relationships across the College.
Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities and special needs.
Non-Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Write and update procedures for accounts receivable functions; correspond with students and collection agencies regarding accounts; provide back-up in the office environment.
