Job Description

Bring your organization skills, attention to detail, and love of helping others to North Idaho College as our Circulation Technician. In this front-line role, youll support the day-to-day operations of the library and help create a welcoming, efficient environment for students, staff, and community members.

Youll handle a wide variety of responsibilities, including checking materials in and out, maintaining patron records, processing interlibrary loans, and assisting with course reserves. Youll also provide friendly, hands-on support to patrons using library printers, scanners, and computers, ensuring everyone has the resources they need. Beyond the front desk, youll help keep the library organized by shelving materials, preparing new items for circulation, and assisting with acquisitions and digital storage projects.

Were looking for someone who thrives on accuracy and customer service - someone with excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail along with great interpersonal abilities. Comfort and proficiency with computers and common office and library systems are essential, as is the ability to operate standard office equipment.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one-year full-time equivalent experience, in library circulation is required.

Starting pay range: $17.11 - $19.68
Pay Grade: C5 To see full Classified Pay Grade Salary Structures click here 

Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule: typical library hours are Mon-Thurs 7:30-6:00, Fri 7:30-2:30, Sun 12:30-6:00
