||Graduation from a regionally accredited institution with a master’s degree in library science, and supervisory experience. Successful results of a criminal background check are required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer two years’ supervisory experience in either a circulation or reference department, experience teaching traditional and web-based library courses and orientations, experience providing online reference and circulation services, and operational familiarity with ILS functionality. ||The Coordinator, Reader Services position is a full-time professional position. The Coordinator, Reader Services will supervise the Reader Services Department for the Pensacola Campus Library, and direct the collection development processes. The duties to be performed include, but are not limited to the following: recommend and coordinate the implementation of policies and procedures affecting the Reader Services Department, coordinate the collection development activities within the district, ensure the effective and efficient development, processing, and utilization of library collections; act as the building supervisor for all public areas of the library, recommend departmental expenditure requests and coordinate the acquisition of all library equipment and supplies, and attend departmental, regional, and college meetings. This position reports to the District Department Head of Libraries.
||$31,800.00 - $48,000.00 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable. However, the college does not generally hire at the top of the range.)
