About Westchester Community College:

Westchester Community College was founded in 1946 as the New York State Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in White Plains. In 1957, the County of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community college. Westchester Community College is more than just the county's largest educational institution. Job Description:

The incumbent will teach in-person classes at Elementary I and/or Elementary II Spanish levels at the Westchester Community College Main Campus in Valhalla, NY.


Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of a Master's degree and one year of practical experience is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  A Master's degree in Spanish, Modern Languages, a related discipline, or the equivalent is strongly preferred.


Additional Information:

HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $82.57 per hour. No benefits.

POSITION EFFECTIVE: Fall 2022

WORK SCHEDULE: The work schedule is between the hours of 8am and 2pm. Afternoon and evening availability is preferred at extension sites such as Yonkers, Mahopac, and Mount Vernon.
